Creating a clear brand and online presence.
Challenge.
Jakes Civil Construction and Linterra Aggregates, both part of BC’s Klaassen Group of Companies, needed to establish a brand system and hierarchy for their steadily growing brands. Originally established as a family business that has grown into a recognized civil contractor in the Fraser Valley, Jakes was approaching their 30th anniversary and needed a personal brand identity to celebrate the milestone. They also had an extremely limited online and social media presence, with large potential for improvement. Linterra, was not as established, but there was plenty of opportunity to elevate the brand without an anniversary too.
Solution.
Our strategic approach began with stakeholder interviews and a thorough discovery process to identify competitive advantages and client needs for both brands. We recommended and executed a digital presence strategy, including website redesigns, high-quality photo and video content creation, and social media setup and management across multiple platforms. We also devised a campaign for Jakes' 30th anniversary, complete with a new logo, print ads, and digital assets, reinforcing their legacy and engaging their audiences. Ultimately, we took both brands in unique directions, while creating just the right amount of alignment to hint that they're two companies cut from the same cloth.
Branding Better Together.
Site developed a cohesive brand system and hierarchy for JAKES and Linterra, aligning their identities with the evolving needs of stakeholders.
Happy Anniversary.
Site conceptualized and executed a campaign to commemorate Jakes' 30th anniversary, including the development of a new logo, print ads, and digital assets.
Social Squared.
We came up with a social strategy for each brand that involved a team approach. Both brands have content created individually, but share each other's work strategically for additional reach.
