For the last year, our team has been hard at work building SiteHQ, the first specialized industrial studio in Canada. Today, we’re excited to take you through the final progress and tour of our 10,000 sq ft office and studio space.
First Impressions: The Lobby + Bar Area.

When we designed our new office, we wanted to create a space that would feel welcoming for our staff, our clients, and anyone who walked in. A standout feature of the lobby is the abundant natural light streaming through the floor-to-ceiling glass window, but the most striking element is the spiral staircase. We completely rebuilt the staircase, transforming it into both an architectural centrepiece and a functional entrance to the second floor.

We wanted to offer people a cafe-style experience with a coffee bar, two mini fridges, and full bar seating, so we went all out with a brand-new espresso machine. Overnight, everyone on our team became a barista—it’s easily one of the most celebrated office features since we moved in.
Second Floor Flex Space, Kitchen + Offices.
Above the lobby, you'll find the loft—a thoughtfully designed workstation area featuring private desks, quiet spaces for focused work, and a glass-enclosed meeting room.

Continuing up the stairs to the second floor, there are four private executive offices on the right, offering ideal spaces for meetings, virtual calls, and focused work in a more secluded setting.
When we walk clients through the loft and into the upper mezzanine, SiteHQ truly comes to life. With offices across Kelowna, Calgary, Victoria, and Toronto, our staff regularly move through SiteHQ, making it a dynamic hub for collaboration. To accommodate our out-of-town team members and guests, we’ve designed a long, continuous desk across from the offices, providing flexible workspaces that also offer a unique viewpoint of the studio lights and production space.

We grew a lot at our previous office, and one thing we learned is that a single microwave doesn’t cut it for our expanding team. The little details make a difference, so while we’re very proud of our two microwaves, we also made sure our new full kitchen included a stove, fridge, and dishwasher.

The Risers + Central Work Zone.
One of the defining features of SiteHQ is the risers—the first key element that helped shape the entire space. We wanted a place to gather our team on SiteDays, and we also liked the idea of having a slide in our office (you can spot it on the right side of the risers in the above photo).

Below the risers is our main working area with 16 standing desks. We wanted our team to be able to work comfortably, so each station is complete with double monitors and a storage locker.
At SiteHQ, we’ve designed the space to support both focused work and collaboration, ensuring that our team can operate at its best. To achieve this, we created two lounge areas beside the desks in an open-concept environment for casual meetings, lunches, and flexible places to work. We also paired the main open area with call rooms and dedicated meeting spaces, allowing for deep work in quieter environments while keeping the central space open for collaborative, creative production.

Another standout feature of the space is the three large garage doors at the back. These doors not only make it easy to load and move equipment but also allow us to bring in fresh air and natural light on sunny summer days. Natural light was a key consideration in the design of SiteHQ, which is why we also incorporated eight skylights above the workspace.

SiteHQ is designed for events and presentations thanks to an integrated AV system built into the risers. This allows us to host fireside chats, keynotes, and company-wide meetings, with audio that carries throughout the entire building. Additionally, a custom screen in the ceiling provides the flexibility to showcase client work, presentations, and even major events like the Super Bowl—making SiteHQ not just a workplace but a space for us to connect and team-build outside of work.

Seacan Corner + Sky Lounge.
With our open-concept design, storage was a major consideration—especially for our video gear and production equipment. To align with the industrial aesthetic and functional needs of the space, we created a custom Secan structure, incorporating two 20-foot shipping containers that serve distinct purposes.

On the left, one Secan houses all of our video equipment, providing an organized and easily accessible storage solution. On the right, we built a custom podcast studio, a space designed specifically for high-quality podcast production and storytelling—a key focus for us moving forward.
Bringing these Secans into the office was an incredible process to witness, and they’ve transformed not just our storage and studio capabilities but also the overall design of SiteHQ. The upper level of the Secans serves as a lounge area and a unique vantage point with a clear view of both the studio and the entire office.

SiteStudio + Production.
Finally, we’ve reached the defining feature of our office: SiteStudio, a creative hub that embodies our commitment to high-quality content production. Our infinity wall has already played a key role in numerous productions over the past few months, but before any video project begins, it all starts with strategy. When designing our new space, we knew we wanted a boardroom that would serve as a hub for creativity and collaboration—a place where we could bring clients in, develop ideas, and map out projects together.

Staying true to our industrial aesthetic, we designed the boardroom with a garage door feature, allowing us to open up the space for larger strategy sessions while maintaining flexibility. We kept the design intentionally simple and functional, letting our work speak for itself.

Adjacent to the boardroom is our post-production room, a dedicated workspace for our video team. With filming projects happening across Canada and the U.S., we wanted to ensure they had the right environment to bring shoot productions to life, refine content, and push creative boundaries.

One of the most exciting additions to SiteHQ is our gym—a feature we envisioned from day one. At Site, we prioritize health and wellness, and having a space where our team can exercise, recharge, and blow off steam was an essential part of our office design.

This journey wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our construction team, designers, builders, and, most importantly, our team, who brings this space to life every day.

A big thank you also goes out to our clients. None of this would be possible without your trust and collaboration. We’d love to welcome you into our space—whether for an event, a coffee, or just to say hi. If you see the Site sign, come on in! We look forward to welcoming you into our new space.
