Earlier this month, we announced Site’s acquisition of BlackBean Marketing, a Kelowna-based agency specializing in the industrial sector and B2B space.
This exciting move will enhance our service offerings and ability to support our clients. It also means we have three new specialized team members strengthening our web, strategy, and marketing departments.
While our new team members settle into their roles, we’ve made a few exciting title changes to some seasoned Site staffers, too. A warm welcome to our new crew and a big congrats to our promoted team members:
Meet the BlackBean Team
Laura Norup-Boyer, VP, Client Success
Like most of us at Site, Laura's career has been shaped by a passion for helping elevate industrial companies. Born in Switzerland, she spent a decade in Shanghai and Hong Kong leading marketing and trade show management for international brands before settling in Kelowna to start BlackBean. As Site’s VP of Client Success, Laura collaborates with our industrial partners to align marketing strategies with revenue goals. With a direct, creative, and results-driven mindset, she excels at guiding companies through growth, refining their market positioning, and strengthening client relationships.

Dana Hare, Web Developer
Dana is a full-stack web developer with a decade of experience enhancing digital footprints through custom websites and optimized workflows. His journey began at Universal Music Canada, designing artwork for popular artists before shifting his focus to digital development. This evolution brought him to BlackBean, where he led development for seven years. At Site, Dana continues to craft seamless digital experiences while tackling complex web challenges.
Grant Hendricks, Marketing Strategist
With a decade in B2B and industrial marketing, Grant thrives on simplifying complexity and delivering data-driven results. Passionate about the industries that keep the world moving, he combines curiosity and strategy to unlock potential and craft compelling content. Whether analyzing trends, refining SEO, or writing copy that converts, he ensures every move drives impact.
Introducing Our Recent Promotions
Andrew Grant, VP, Strategy
Over the past year, strategy at Site has grown from a one-person Department of Andrew to a team of three. As VP of Strategy, Andrew will continue doing what he does so well—collaborating with our clients to uncover opportunities, refine brand positioning, and craft compelling narratives—while advancing the strategy department to enhance the impact of client brands. He’s excited about the talent within the strategy team and looks forward to continuing to evolve how Site supports our clients and marketing opportunities.

Trevor Wales, Director, Communications + Engagement
Trevor has been an invaluable member of our communications team for over three years, supporting our industrial partners on infrastructure projects and engaging with stakeholders across Canada. In his new role, he will have more opportunities to provide leadership and mentorship to the entire Site team, while continuing to support the outstanding work of our small but mighty communications department, no matter the scale or scope of the projects they are involved in.
Taylor Grehan, Chief of Staff
In 2024, we made the big transition from our old office in Cloverdale to SiteHQ, and we couldn’t have done it without Taylor. From helping orchestrate the move to administration, hiring, and leading the team at Site Talent, Taylor is the definition of rolling up your sleeves and making an impact. As Chief of Staff, she will work closely with our CEO, Andrew Hansen, to maximize his efficiency, streamline communication, and serve as a key liaison across the organization.
Michelle Hughes, Director of Digital Marketing
We can’t talk about big impacts without talking about Michelle. In her short time at Site, Michelle has boosted our social portfolio, grown our clients’ social channels, and expanded our digital team. In her new role, she’ll be stepping into a more strategic leadership position, focusing on the big picture of our digital efforts. Michelle is excited to expand Site’s digital offerings, grow the team further, and experiment with new ideas while refining our strategies to drive results.

Connor McCreadie, Senior Videographer
From the site to the studio, Connor’s enthusiasm for his craft comes through on every production he touches, exuding positivity, curiosity, and composure—even when road bumps arise. As a Senior Videographer, he’ll be leading on-site production on most shoots, focusing on narrative and relationship building, while the rest of the team handles the technical aspects and explores their creative freedom.
Nothing makes us prouder than watching our team level up their skills and leadership. With new talent on board and more hires on the way, we’re unlocking fresh potential and preparing to deliver even more groundbreaking work for our clients.
