From beneath cities to the remote wilderness, there’s nowhere the industrial sector doesn’t go—and now we have a new way to talk about it. Introducing the Creative Dept. Podcast, an ongoing series showing (not just telling) how creative-led marketing separates industry leaders from followers.

Hosted by Jono Saye, our Creative Director, plus cohosts who lead our various disciplines, the podcast brings together senior creatives from across our departments—video, design, art direction, and copy—to unpack how creative-led marketing helps industrial companies stand out, connect, and grow.
By creating the podcast, we set out to accomplish three goals:
1. Educate: Show people how great creative gets made and how, now more than ever, it's a serious competitive advantage for industrial brands.
2. Appreciate: Celebrate our best work, the people who make it, and the brands that understand the power of creative marketing.
3. Elevate: Spotlight the talent who leads the work with co-hosts who specialize in their craft in our creative department.
Whether we’re talking branding, web design, integrated campaign work, social media, or video, the podcast puts a lens on the work Site does across the industrial sector. It shows how creativity isn’t just a nice-to-have, but a competitive advantage.

Scope the Series.
There are four types of episodes under the CreativeDept. umbrella:
- Behind-the-Scenes. Our host and Creative Director, Jono, teams up with our Director of Production, Jadon Plett, for a series that unpacks the creative process behind some of our strongest video work and campaigns. From concepting to set building, props, and lighting, get inside the studio and into the minds of our senior creative team.
- By Design. Jono sits down with our senior design team to discuss the interplay between branding and design in the context of our favourite projects and how we brought them to life.
- Creative Reviews. This freeform series explores how we can apply the lessons learned from great creative marketing beyond the industrial sector. On any given episode, Jono might interview a creative director from another agency, a team that collaborated on a particular project, or share his unique take on a topic. Creative Reviews elevate the industrial sector by exposing listeners to marketing campaigns that broke the mould.
- Client Meetings. Tune in for real stories and successes from the industrial sector. This series is all about showcasing the value of creative marketing through the voices and experiences of our clients.
