Div15 Mechanical is an award-winning construction firm that provides mechanical solutions throughout Western Canada. With a team of over 100 staff, Division 15 has completed over 230 projects and built over 5,000,000 sq ft of mechanical systems. In 2019 they were celebrating their 15-year history as a firm, and were in a unique period of growth and momentum. The team at Division15 was looking into a new way to communicate their story and modernize their brand, to reflect their history and share their vision for the future. SitePartners worked with Division15 to create a new brand and visual identity. Following the rebrand, SitePartners designed a new website and a series of corporate video productions, to showcase the new Division15 to the industry.
A New Brand
For Division15’s new identity, we had to balance what was at face-value, two opposing ideas: modernizing their look, but keeping the essence of the history of their old brand. We rebuilt their logo in a modern typeface, but with a nod to where they came from. Bringing the blue to the forefront, we overhauled their messaging, business cards, and corporate documentation. We established new brand guidelines for a consistent look and feel across the company. The new brand was released and announced at the 15 Year Anniversary of the firm. A perfect release for a company entering a new stage of momentum.
A Modern & Mobile Website
Building from the brand redesign, we created a modern and mobile-first website for the new Division15 brand. This website had a custom video banner, combined with sharp imagery to reinforce Division15’s position as the industry leader. We used a simple, clean design to help the viewer access the right information at the right time. With a customized 'Services' breakdown, we created an intuitive user experience, to present select project portfolios based on the specific page of services the user was on.
Recruitment & Culture
What has positioned Div15 as an industry leader for the past 15 years, has been their focus on people and culture. We wanted to create a video to communicate this strength to clients, partners, and prospective employees. The 'Values and Recruitment' video helped show that Division15 was more than just a mechanical contractor, and was an organization that builds careers.
To position and market an industry leader, you need to show the brand hard at work. We used brand imagery to help communicate what makes Division15 special. Their new brand of photography was featured alongside their new creative assets, built on the foundation of our new brand guidelines.
